What great authors have: creativity, motive, organization, well-practiced skill
What boring authors have: unoriginality, lack of motivation, who gives a f*ck writing style
What I have: Ideas and strong powers of procrastination.
By the time I get the chance to write something down, the idea is gone. I'm often left with a cast of characters but nothing to do with them. Since they have no world to really reside in, some are a bit overpowered. That's mainly a couple of demons and extremly important and trained people, but I still don't really have a set of rules to design them by. I try and for now they are fine until I figure out what to do with the casts...I've tried sketching but I need more practice and tend to be a bit harsh on myself. I will draw something one day and think it's ok but then want to burn it the next day. I can get scenes going in my head but I can't get the desired result in writing or drawings. At the moment, my stress levels are high due to school but the good news is that summer will be around soon.
The plan is to try and get what I can manage done and work things out over the summer. I feel like I'm out of practice with my works (well, that's because I am).
I'm also pretty sure that I'm talking to myself...Maybe I should do some doodles...or homework...nah, I should really draw something
